If you love programs like The Moth, This American Life and A Prairie Home Companion, but just wish you got to be in the room where it happens, look no further than your friendly, neighborhood storefront theatre. Once a month, at The Public House Theatre, The National American Presents: The Sipping Hour- a collection of stories, sketches and audio delights built around a single theme.
For November, the theme is Thanks Anyway. Together, storytellers and audiences will set our attitudes to gratitude exploring the ups and downs of family, tradition and going home. Created by some of Chicago’s rising voices in comedy, theater, and storytelling, “The Sipping Hour, Episode November” is a thankfully amusing journey over the river and through the woods. Make room for extra helpings of fun and laughter!
